We’ve started a new podcast about game development and other stuff! It’s like you’re on the inside of a small game studio, eavesdropping on our conversations about making games and working in the industry!
Check it out here! (Episode 3 is our strongest one!)
Oh hey I’m part of this podcast initiative! We’re getting better with every episode too! :)
The IGDA Puerto Rico Developer Spotlight series showcases local IGDA members and the games they’re working on. We look into their development process, future goals, and personal opinions regarding their work and the industry.
Our first entry to the series focuses on three local developers who recently joined forces to compete in the third annual online Game Boy Jam. Working under their educational game label, Other Words, Jeb Alvarado and Ashley Alicea collaborated with composer Josué González Rivera to create Cocotero, an island-themed action/arcade game. The team is here to fill us in on the details behind the game and their experience during the jam.
