Super Crate Box!! I just can’t have enough of this game, for those of you who dont know this is a retro arcade game made by Vlambeer a dutch independent game company that is all about arcades…well anyhow this game is soo much fun it’s like the old mario formula on steroids and it’s extremely fun as it is simple, here’s how it works: you play on a single screen size level as one of 8 different characters and you have to avoid getting killed by the enemies as you try to collect one of 13 different weapons on a crate, (hence the name Super Crate Box),when you collect the crate the weapon is selected randomly, as you collect the crates another one randomly appears on a different location on the level. then at the bottom of the screen there’s a flaming pit and if the enemies fall to it they come back from the top angry and faster, there’s three kinds of enemies and each one gets angry when they fall thru the pit, you can play on 3 different leves with 3 different modes. It has some amazing chiptune soundtrack and it’s pixel sprites are amazing, did I mention that this game is actually FREE for PC and MAC, there’s also another version coming to iOS on January 5th, IT’S JUST FREAKING PERFETC!! the fun with this game is just endless! I hope they make more amazing games like this one, also when I grow up I want to be just like them!! I wish the best to these guys!
